Is the Disney Project Dead?

I took the “Disney” menu item off of this site.  I don’t quite know what this means, if anything, other than I don’t want the menu item thrown in with some of my other topics for which I’m more professionally known.

Yes, my Disney project will be a professional creative work.

Yes, I’m proud to be choosing a Disney-based project and have no weird hangup such as “that’s for kids” or “those fans are strange”.  In fact… I quite like that Disney is both adult and kid friendly and that many of us who are fans of one Disney thing or another—movies, games, theme parks, ESPN, etc.—are strange.  That makes me feel quite at home to some degree, even if my strange isn’t the same as yours.

How to still get my Disney Project posts:

You can still get all of my Disney posts as they’ll appear on the main page at https://chaseraz.com while they’re new.  You can also always just click to browse anything tagged “Disney”.

Future plans for access

In the future, I may turn the Disney link back on within the main menu, or I may elect to use some type of a subdomain such as disney.chaseraz.com (not a hyperlink because it’s not active at the time of writing, and may never be).  I’ll decide as things unfold, but for now, I’m getting a better grasp on what I want the project’s content to be.  After that, there will be plenty of time to worry about the minutia.

In the mean time, I’ll leave you with the following thought from a construction area within the Walt Disney World resort:

Disney Dream Builders Sign, "Times and conditions change so rapidly that we must keep our aim constantly focused on the future."
